JOHNSBURG – Johnsburg’s boys basketball team continued its strong finish to the season with a 66-44 Fox Valley Conference Fox division win against Woodstock on Friday night.
GRAYSLAKE – Woodstock’s Jordan Turner scored 14 points Wednesday, but the Blue Streaks lost to Grayslake Central, 77-34, in Fox Valley Conference Fox Division boys basketball action.
CRYSTAL LAKE – Before Monday’s IHSA Class 3A regional quarterfinal against Marian Central, Woodstock guard senior guard Sharon Mwale learned she would be called on to fill the void in the absence of the regular starter, Chrissy Velasquez.
