Coach: Rick Schaefer (third season)

Top returning swimmers: Adam Eibel, sr.; Mitch Robak, jr.; Scott Eibel, so.; Chase Castro, so.; Cooper Langanis, so.

Top new swimmers: Ethan Hare, fr.; Corey Sheehan, so.

Worth noting: The Trojans graduated six seniors who were on the sectional team and all members of the state qualifying relays except for Adam Eibel.The team will begin to rebuild in the post-Michael Hamann (last year’s Northwest Herald Swimmer of the Year)era with a strong sophomore class.

Woodstock co-op

Coach: Ian Shanahan (10th season)

Top returners: Liam DeWane, sr.; Carson Price, sr.; Ben Detwiler, so.; Mark Harter, so.; Dan Jagman, sr.; Matt Jensen, sr.; Conner Wilhelm, jr.; Jose Pozo jr.

Top new swimmers: Alex Kovak, sr.; Joe MiCeli, jr.; Jeremy Wolf, fr.; Conner Zankle, fr.

Worth noting: The team looks to be competitive in the area with a core returning group and has 14 new swimmers this year.

Worth noting: The Red Raiders have a bunch of young talent returning from last season and are one of the deeper teams in the area. Huntley will look to make an impact with a new coach.

Jacobs co-op

Coach: Rick Andresen

Top returners: Alex Reinbrecht, sr.; Caleb Knottnerus, jr.; Francis Ogaban, so.

Worth noting: The team is looking for swimmers to step up to fill out the roster and improve depth. Reinbrecht returns for his senior season having qualified for the state meet his first three seasons.


Coach: Craig Fowles (12th season)

Top returners: Matt Peck, sr.; Miles Lucas, sr.; Trey Schopen, so.; Kevin Braun, so.; Jackson Smith, so.; Garrett Floden, jr.; Josh Frost, so.; Noah Matthys, so.

Top new swimmers: Chase Wachendorf, fr.

Worth noting: Fowles said this is the best complete group of swimmers he ever has coached.

“I know they have the dedication to [be great],” Fowles said. “It’s a metter if they can pull everything together. They have high expectations for themselves.”
