Rams win in baseball sectional

LAKE VILLA – Aaron Snyder struck out nine, and Grayslake Central’s baseball team defeated Lakes, 2-0, in the IHSA Class 3A Lakes Sectional semifinal.

The Rams (24-14) will face Johnsburg at 11 a.m. Saturday in the title game.

Angelo Gargano homered for Central.

SOFTBALL

Class 3A Marengo Sectional: Antioch shut out Grayslake Central, 4-0, to advance to Saturday’s final against Vernon Hills.
